Summer School of the Arts
Each summer, the Walnut Hill School in Natick, MA, provides young artists from around the world a great summer arts school. The Students can study Opera Ballet theater, visual arts, or writing and publishing. The programs of the summer school for the arts to provide students with instruction individual, group classes, performances and exhibitions and opportunities. Students living in dormitories on the campus of 30 acres of Walnut Hill. Near Boston and Cambridge allow participants to the courses of many Summer opportunity to attend concerts and performances in some of the most recognized institutions cultural and educational organizations in the world.
There are three dance programs are offered: a dance program of 7-10 years, the summer dance program for youth 10-13 years and the summer program Dance for 13-17 years. Serio, aspiring dancers are taught by renowned artists in an atmosphere of support they need yet. Walnut Hill dancers are known first, and Gillian Murphy, a dancer at American Ballet Theatre.
Opera programs a visit to Europe, where students expand their minds by exploring the culture of their art. Opera students to participate in intensive study on campus, trips to the opera house La Scala and Verona Opera Festival in Italy, and return to perform in Walnut Hill. Preparation and publication by students of poetry, prose and drama, trips to England and then present their own work new campus.
summer students explore the visual arts of drawing, painting and new technologies. They work in a professional studio with the renowned artist and teacher. Students use a variety of techniques to explore their creativity and imagination.
Moreover, the Sphinx Performance Academy minorities to grow musicians, and the Chinese Academy of Performing Arts for students interested in East Asian music and performing arts, are offered during the summer.
